Yes, I played through one many years ago. Good power, but not enough fullness or bass for my tastes. That price seems high, especially considering the condition of the amp. |

I’m not looking to buy, just interested in learning more about them. _________________ www.fryerguitarpickups.com |

I have one that belonged to Maurice Anderson, he used it on the Johnny High music show for a while. The original speaker was replaced by a Peavey branded JBL, and it sounds great. When I first got it, I sent it to Derrell Stephens for a 100,000 mile tuneup. _________________ Darvin Willhoite
MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, a restored MSA Classic SS, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Also a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored Rose S10, named the "Blue Bird". Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also have a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks, and a showroom condition Sho-Bud Super Pro. |

The first Evans I ever saw was similar to that. Ronnie Kirby (RIP) was playing one of his Emmons guitars through it.
Not pretty to look at; but, it sounded great. _________________ Lee, from South Texas - Down On The Rio Grande
There are only two options as I see it.
Either I'm right, or there is a sinister conspiracy to conceal the fact that I'm right.
