I got this Princeton 112 in a trade. Sounds great.
Only issue is a loud pop when turning it on or off.
Something I can check or carry to a amp guy.

If it has a standby switch, leave it on standby for a few seconds after turning it on, and put it on standby for a few seconds before turning it off.

Turning the volume down won’t eliminate it completely, Dave. But it might make the pop a little less annoying.

Even with the volume all the way off does not help when turning off. It is loud. Just gonna take it to a repairman. Too nice not to use.

How old is the amp? Maybe it just needs a new switch. Pretty simple soldering/wiring job.

As I understand it, a Princeton 112 is a 35 watt solid state amp, not the single 10” 12-watt tube amp with a standby switch....
