Well folks they are here;
We have started manufacturing some replacement parts and some updated parts.
I will keep this thread running as a continuous update as we progress with more products being produced.
We now produce replacement carter pull pins/Dog Bones

We now offer a update to the dog bones as well. With the addition of the Old MSA style barrel that has been updated to fit the Carter bellcrank/rod puller.

Here is how it works to save you some money.
You may purchase them separately or you can purchase them in a set to redo the entire guitar. Instead of buying all new rods, you can buy just the farthest pedal on the lefts rods. The existing rods are then cut down to use on the next pedal or knee lever to the right. This eliminates the carter hooks and creates straight rods and the need for dog bones.

We also produce Carter replacement rods with the hook or without for the updated pulls

We have now also producing complete 1 inch lift kits. We will be adding different lengths as we move forward and as needed. They can also be purchased in singles or as a kit for S-10,SD-10 or D-10 ETC.

Introducing the Brand new Out West Leg Bag
Extremely tough industry standard fabric with double layer re-enforced bottom and bag opening for long lasting trouble free service.
It comes with 5 pockets for your pedal steel guitar legs and pedal rods.
Available in Black or Blue at this time. However, other colors, if available, can be special ordered. Please check our website for pricing and is eligible for free shipping within Canada and the USA.

We are now starting to produce return springs
The Fessenden style spring is now in stock on our site and soon will be the Emmon's/Derby style.

Please stay tuned as we are in the works of manufacturing much more...as well if there is anything you think we should build please drop us a line and let us know. Or if you just want to talk steels, my phone is always on
thanks
wayne

Dog Bone alternate looks good; when will you have a Carter parts price list available?

Thank you for the kind statement however I don’t understand what you mean by carter parts. All the parts we have and price are on our web site. If you are suggesting we have the carter line. We did not purchase that from AL Brisco. We do not know who got that line. Sorry
Thanks
Wayne

Hi Wayne,

What I meant was, what is the pricing for your brass Carter dog bone replicas versus your alternate, screw-type barrels? I'm sure there are many Carter players out here that will be very interested.

I am sorry Gary I did not understand the first statement I guess. All the info for the New Carter style barrels and the replacement brass "dog Bones" is located on our web site
www.outwestcountry.ca
Under "CARTER, NEW PARTS" which includes pricing and the new design pull rods to go with the new barrel system etc.
Thanks
Wayne
