I heard a cool version of What A Wonderful World by Herb Remington on Steel Radio yesterday and I wanted to find the recording. Anyone have this or know where to find it? It was uptempo in sort of a Bossa Nova beat. Some of Herbs stuff used a Wah pedal with excellent results. What a great player with vision. |

Hi Larry
Have you tried to reach out to Ted Smouse with Steel Radio?
He should have their archival references for all the music they play.
Just a thought / or not.....

Ron, I will reach out to Ted. Thanks for the advice. I was floored by some of Herbs early playing techniques. I seen him several times in his later years. He never did any of this tricky cool stuff on those shows. Probably sticking with standard known music.
Scott, thanks for the link. I purchased the CD used as it was a self produced with no label product. Hopefully that's the one since the song was on it. If not, no big deal. |
