Well ... a Tulip model, prewar Oahu made by Dickerson ...
25.5" scale ... I've never seen nor heard of one 🧐

| The Oahu amp is beautiful. Looks like the 1940s table radio my grandma had sitting on top of her "ice box" tuned to The Good Neighbor WCCO-AM for well over a half-century. Never missed a Twins game. |

Very nice! How does it sound? I'm not familiar with the pick-up design and tone?
Are there any Dick McIntire recordings?
How would you compare the tone with maybe a Rickenbacher?

It doesn't arrive till Friday ... 
As far as the pickup, etc .... my kids got me a prewar "Tulip" Dickerson for Christmas ... it needed work and I made a SGF post about it ... includes a sound sample (albeit recorded on my iPhone)

I love the tone ... not as much output as a Rickenbacher ... but a very pleasing tone ...

It arrived safely ... it's beautiful, I've never had a vintage "museum" quality guitar before ... 25.5" scale, sparkly raised fretboard, fancy case, beautiful tone ... I'll try and get a tune recorded in the next few days ...
