Really don't want to sell this but chasing a local amp I've been trying to get for years and need the funds. It's like the Teleratt Paul Franklin asked us to build in the 90's but in a Rattler 22 7/8" scale frame. Only two were built, video represents it well. $685 plus shipping PRICE DROP to $585

Hey there Ted,
This is a little off subject, but I watched the video and saw the bar you were using. How does it attach to your finger? That’s a great idea!
Thanks Ted,

Ted,
I had to play after breaking my wrist, right out of the cast. This was what I used, a Stevens bar that I added these clips to. Not the best idea, but it got me through.

Hi Steve,
That is called the Suregrip Bar, it was something Dad patented in the 80's, you couldn't do slants with them but otherwise they could be formed to your finger and made the bar feel like part of your hand. Don't have any for sale, they are hard to find now.
That photo looks great; Dad did a lot of volunteer work at the Elks Rehab center in Boise for paraplegic and created a lot of bars using velcro, plastic and felt, it was what motivated the Suregrip. If I ever find any examples I'll shoot you some photos for sure. I remember one fellow that lost his entire left hand, we strapped the bar to the arm and he used the side of his arm to mute and played great.

You and your dad did a lot of good engineering for sure and what a great video and sound of that mini should not last long for sure. Some one better snatch it before its gone. |

I'm going to hold onto it but if I decide to sell it, I'll let you know first.......btw, you can slant with it by using your wrist and/or arm.....we've always been told not to and to only slant with your fingers....but sometimes we can run with the scissors and not get impaled...... |
