What speaker is in the cabinets, and what do they weigh?

Sorry Roger. I finally had time to reply. The speakers are the original 1203-4 peavey speakers and the weight according to my digital scale is 40 lbs each. Thanks for looking, Dave

I believe the actual model number for these speakers is 112E, not Nashville 112

I could tell you that is a deal on these speakers. I used to have a set of these and they are killer sounding. The weight Factor got to me. But some of you younger guys ought to jump on these before they are gone

You're both right. The model is Nashville 112E. This label is on the bottom of the pair I foolishly sold a few years ago. They also had a 15 in. model Nashville 115E.

And yes, they are fabulous sounding speakers. These are the ones Jeff Newman used the last few years of his life.

I don't need 'em, but at this bargain price I'd pick 'em up anyway if I were closer.
