Hello there, I'm trying to find a copy of Herb Remington instructional material, wondered if anyone can give me a lead. I know C6 is the same but it's specifically the Remington A6 stuff I'm after, his solos on Bob Wills tracks like Sugar Blues is a real inspiration for me and I'm itching to get my hands on the materials! Any guidance on tracking it down would be greatly appreciated, many thanks and kind greetings from Scotland |

This was covered a while back but I cannot find the thread right now. But there's a place in Texas that has copies of his instructional material. I'll keep searching after work. |

Thanks, I have the Sweetin tab and Crockette (sic).
I'm curious to see what Herb thought the important aspects were to focus on, work arounds, positions/grips etc. |

Thanks Lloyd, I'm under the impression the the material consists of more than just song tabs? |

I bought the Herb videos from Texas Music Supply, I think that is the name of the place. 2 of them and I thought they were helpful, but he didn't get into the tuning very much. Seems like there were tabs inside the disk cases for some of his stuff. John |

I learned A6 tuning from the Herb Remington/Rick Alexander “Tuff Fun Tabs” book. I wish I could find it now. All non pedal 8 string stuff, and mainly song arrangements. Would be interested to find earlier Herb Remington material. _________________ If it’s on the ground it can’t fall down. |

Here's the Web address. The page doesn't look so good now, but they have Vol 1 and 2 listed still. Maybe give them a call? https://store.turbify.net/yhst-29843503067552/index.html
Let us know how it turns out. |
