I got John Russell’s great tab study of Hartley version of this great song.
I’m now trying to find the Bobbe Seymour backing track for it.
Any idea if it is still available? If no longer available, does anybody care to share it?
Thanks.

Hi Bud
Happy Holidays to you. I don't have that track but my band plays Silver Wings and I do all the recording for the band. If you cant find Bobbe's track I can remix the track and just make it a rhythm track if you want. Let me know. Glad to do it. BTW it is the key of E
Kind Regards,

I have a backing track in E, I'll be happy to share. It is from the TAB programs I offered many years back. Just need an email address if anyone is interested.
Happy New Year!
Here's the video of the complete song.

No one seems to play the chord I hear in the bridge on the word ' Airplane'. It's either a D#dim. or a D#7. It's just two beats long. I'm talking the original version. Comments? _________________ Emmons SKH Le Grande, '73 Fender P/J bass, Tick tack bass, Regal high strung, USA Nashville 112. |

I've heard that chord played different ways in various bands.
Here's Merle playing the song live, and at about 0:45 minutes, you can see his left-hand at that point in the song.
