Some Christmas chimes, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
I am partial to traditional carols. Short and sweet.
Using my Charlie’s Slide Pro capo, Clinesmith and a Neural DSP Plini X amp plugin.
Merry Christmas to all!

Thank you all for listening and commenting.

This was one of the most difficult things I've attempted in a while but the way it came to me was so natural and easy, but it just became more difficult as the piece went on and I kept discovering new ways to play it. Soon I couldn't remember them. But I had only been playing around with it for an hour before I recorded.

A funny story is that it took me at least 10-15 takes to get it right and then when I almost had it down I blew it on the penultimate measure and let out a very visual expletive that I had to cover up at the end! I suppose I could have just blacked it out but why draw attention to it?

Anyway, I started getting serious about chimes when I did Mister Sandman, so I know that are a lot of possibilities. And finally I found a good use for my Charlie's Slide Pro capo. I will be incorporating it a lot more like this.
