Something to consider for those of you looking for the BIG tuning wrenches that used to be available.

Look around for a 1/4 inch reversible fingertip ratchet. These are about 1 1/2 to 2 inch diameter.... then attach a 1/4 inch drive deep socket 3/16.

Just make sure it's a reversible unit that locks in the middle position so you don't have to keep switching back and forth.

They can be found for just a few bucks at Temu etc., or up to $70-80 for a professional tool such as Mac or Snap-On, Blue Point. 🎅

Made of steel, so a little bit heavier than the alum ones, but work just fine.

Jerry, until I got rich that is what I used when I started with my PSG. Got rich and purchased the real McCoy tuners from Amazon after I found out about them, BUT the deep well/rachet one works a lot better in my opinion.

Curious as to what is a "real McCoy" tuner?
