This may have already come up here and I missed it, but there a blue Carter D-10 that came up on my local CL today for $1,290. Since the price was to good to be true I did a reverse image search of the pics and saw that it was posted on CL all over the place within the last few weeks, similar price. Same ad is on the Seattle craigslist, here's the text:
(1998 Carter double neck 10 string pedal steel guitar, Bermuda Blue with Bill Lawrence XR-16 pickups,
9 floor pedals and 6 knee levers, currently an Emmons setup with Franklin pedal in the zero pedal position.)
Craigslist gives a phone number and email too. The Seattle ad wants $1250 for it. |

What is really a give away. When you look at the other pictures below the big picture, The folded rod and leg bag has the same strange little wrinkle in the flap.
Maybe when we take pictures on guitars that is put on the forum for sale, We need to put a little sign in every picture so these outlaws can't use them for their scams. |
