For steel guitar BW 1501 over E series JBLs for me.

On Peavey amps I stick with the Black Widow.
On Fender amps I use a JBL.

Hey! Always prefer the "JBL" option. Have a Peavey Vegas 400 loaded with E series JBL. It's been a "hoss" for the last forty years! Regards,RK😎
