Been playing this Melbert for six months now, and I give Bob and Melbert steel guitars a 5 star rating. I had specific features I wanted, and Bob made it happen.
Thanks again!
Steve

That's a nice looking guitar there Steven. Curious as to what tunings you're using on it. And what pickups are on there? Thanks for the eye candy. |

Nice looking steel! Have fun with that, Steven. What kind of custom mods did you have done? |

Thanks fellas, and thanks Bob!
I first contacted Bob with ‘my list:
Double neck
24.5 scale
3/8 string spacing at bridge and nut
Raised back neck
Blue color
Tunings: Open D on front neck, A6th for rear neck, both strung with the gauges that I use.

Bob gave me a price, and we ‘shook hands’. He did a great job of keeping me posted throughout the build.
Also, the Steeltronics pickups are amazing. It’s the first steel I’ve had that I haven’t had to try and dial in the tone. These are the best.
Thanks again!
