Does anybody else randomly look back in the archives? This is the 2nd oldest page in the Pedal Steel section. And guess what? We’re still talking about finger pick types and shapes. As should be, I suppose. And there right in the middle of this thread is a post from Buddy Emmons, which goes right by, unacknowledged. Weird. You don’t miss your water until the well runs dry.

that's pretty priceless, Fred. what a treasure trove we're all sitting on here. I joined the Forum around '97-98 which is around the time Buddy joined up as well. and I'm sure we all recall the Ask Buddy bulletin board in the late 90s, archived here: http://www.buddyemmons.com/board_toc.htm
up until the end you never knew when Buddy might "chime" in, on any given thread. it was always such a treat, and provided a chuckle more often than not. oh how we miss the BIG E! _________________ 1965 Emmons S-10, 3x5 • Emmons LLIII D-10, 10x12 • JCH D-10, 10x12 • Beard MA-8 • Oahu Tonemaster |
