Has anyone found a pedal that creates a deeper tone to emulate a cello?

John, I'm finding that the Boss SY-1 synth pedal does a pretty good job on cello tones. For me the jury is still out on the violin sounds, though... But since my greater need is for violin sounds, I may sell it and try something else, so let me know if you'd like a good deal on mine.

Hey Jim! Sure...wrap it up and send it down. I need it on Dec 4th (next Monday) and would like to try it out before hand to get used to it. Venmo?

I have played what I hope sounds like cello lines
by raising my low B string to C# and lowering my D
string to C# and playing them in unison. No special effects
needed.

Hey John, how's that SY-1 pedal working for you? I just bought the SY-200 but haven't had a chance to try it yet...

May want to look at the EHX Mel9. It’s not super expressive but does sound good.
