These are beautiful boots, but wearable to Play Pedal Steel. They come in all colors... They are Loafers, but when standing up, the trouser legs cover the ankleless part & they look like boots. If I were still playing I'd have all the colors they make...

Guitar player in one of my bands wears something similar. He’s a lawyer and has to dress nicely for his day job (he sometimes shows up for practice still wearing a suit). I refer to the shoes as his “manly footwear”. They do look great, a real cowboy boot meets dress shoe vibe.
But for me, I gotta play in socks or barefoot onstage anyway. _________________ I don’t believe in pixie dust, but I believe in magic.

If I get buried in a pair of those, I'm going to come back and haunt the ones responsible for it.

Me too,but I can't do the rubber sole and heel. My estranged wife (RIP) bought me a pair, and my foot would drag on the floor. But, and I can't explain this, I can play in sneakers. Go figure. I stopped playing in boots a few years ago. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . We used to refer to those as Beatle Boots. _________________ 2013 Williams D-10, 2019 Williams D-10, 1970 Fender Twin, Evans SE200, Fender Tonemaster Twin, Hilton pedal, Jagwire Strings. |
