Here's an arrangement I scratched up last night in my ongoing E13 adventure. It uses two positions of the tonic, A6.

If reverse slants aren't your thing, there is an alternative voicing for the E9 in bars 13 and 14 that can be found on the 12th fret, but using the reverse slant substantially cuts down the horizontal bar movement required.

The video is rough and ready, as usual, and beginners should ignore my crappy left-hand technique.

These videos are extremely helpful, I think the quality is fine. I am not big into technique, just results. I play much better when I just play. I watched a few videos of Bobby Koefer and I am starting to wonder if any of the greats played with "proper technique".

Thanks, Joe and Tim.

Tim, funny thing but I have also been looking at Koefer lately and taking some heart in the technique department. I am not sure how much material there is of his with Wills, less than a year's stint in 1951 I think, but I have a box set of Pee Wee King to investigate if I ever get time.

But what an ear he had! E13 was one of his main tunings, I believe. Check out the Dm6/9 chord at .25 on this. Strings 4, 5 & 6 at the 3rd fret with open top string! Magnificent!
