Thank you David ... I actually did that in two parts ... half of it before I went to Church and half after I got back from Church and figured if I changed clothes first and recorded everyone would know LOL ... I guess ya know now Laughing Laughing Laughing

Thanks Larry, I try to use more than the 3 chords my Dad allowed, not for spite, I just can't help myself.

An outstanding piece of music. The tone and playing are first class. I normally avoid these old tunes but you gave it the flare it needed to sound fresh and awesome. Thanks Dale.

You made my day Larry… thank you… I avoided Christmas songs in general for years, mainly because of the weird progressions… but I’ve started to embrace them as they became less off a mystery to my ear.

Dale, have you heard the Paul Franklin Christmas CD? If not you need to give it a listen. Of course being the monster player Paul is, some of the songs are beyond unbelievable. Very few of these old songs can turn my head, but I must say I listened to your version completely, and enjoyed it to the end. Thanks again Dale.

Hey Dale! Just a "hey" from the other "acker". Just love Christmas music on steel...and miss playing it the last few years. If I can get a grip on my health issues(hand/foot neuropathy from the big C) I shall play again! I may be able to acquire a guitar from a great old friend...a Magnum D-10 with E9 and a 2d's Dobro SIM on the back neck. Anyway, absolutely enjoyed your rendition, and of course the large chord voicings on your E9 neck. Just wanted to say something! Best regards and keep it up. RK😎

Hey Rick, maybe we're related somewhere along the "acker" side LOL.
Glad you enjoyed what I did here ... I feel for you with the neuropathy, as I have some numbness in my feet too, though they feel better if I'm wearing shoes or slippers. The thing that bothers me most playing is the Bone on Bone Arthritis at the base of both thumbs.
