Thinking about selling my shobud crossover d10 guitar if anyone is interested. Very clean, and plays pretty good. Neck selector lever works like it should. Case is like new, this guitar has been kept in the house its whole life. Don't really want to ship its pretty heavy but might meet halfway if within 100 miles or so. $1200

These were the top innovative guitar in the late 60's. A collectors guitar. In its condition, it should be in a museum. I bought a new Crossover in 1970. If more knee levers could be added, it would be a winner. Single raise and single lower changer, but with the rack and barrels, it could do more than single raise or lower. Adding knee levers to the right would require constructing some reverse bellcranks and placement of the knee levers (creativity). As is, it would be a perfect buy for someone learning the basics and a much better guitar than any student model guitar. It is heavy with the cast frame and the rack. I'm tempted to buy it.

I had a red and back one that shown at the Dallas show in '68, played by several of the pro's. Chalker liked all the chord possibilities. Jerry Fox bought it, and then sold it to me. I was playing in variety group at the time and DID NOT DARE play crying steel guitar and c/w tunes. I did eventually play some c/w jobs and added a lkl E -F raise. Played it from 68 until that group disbanded in 80. Then played many C& W, big band, Hawaiian jobs Until I got my NEW, special ordered Emmons LeGrand in '93. Sold it to someone on Forum who split it into two single necks.

Great guitar!

Thanx,
Jim
