Here's the famous vamp in 5/4 time from the iconic tune "Take Five" recorded by the Dave Brubeck Quartet with its composer Paul Desmond on alto sax.

The tricky thing here is to play the tilt bar position, palm or pick block, then immediately move to the straight bar position, palm or pick block and repeat. The full arrangement is on my volkmedia books site. Tilt bar means the only the nose of the bar is playing two notes while the rear of the bar is off the strings.
