Doug, in the 1992 issue of Steel Guitar World mag in your tab article you are playing a D10 Emmons in the photo.
Of course the magazine was in black and white, but the finish on that guitar looks to be unique. I don't know if it's an unusual curly maple finish, a mod job, or if it's just that photos were sometimes not really clear in the magazines early issues. Care to comment? Do you recall?

Interesting question, Jerry. The low-res printing in those days gave everything a texture it didn't necessarily have in real life _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!
