I have been contacted by Smiley Weaver's family about putting out the word on their decision to sell Smiley's MSA guitars. I know at least one is a d12.

They want $2000 each for the red D12 and the black d10...$2500 for yellow one. |

I took guitar lessons from Smiley in 1966 for a couple years. Loved hanging out his music store in Ada. He was quite the character, loved kids. He co-signed several purchases with my folks permission. Really good guy. Just couldn’t skip the Smiley post without saying at least something. _________________ Keep pickin', Larry |

Does the D12 have all its parts? How many pedals and levers? It looks pretty rough. |

An MSA D12 is my favorite steel. If I had the $, I'd grab this right now . _________________ Steel crazy after all these years.
$100 reward for info leading to the purchase of a fender D8 white, yellow, or butterscotch. |
