I stumbled on this thread from back in Jan 2011 where forumite Paul Martin, who in case you didn't know, plays bass with Marty Stuart's band "The Fabulous Superlatives", talks about playin "Buds Bounce" with Gary Carter on the Marty Stuart show. Well, it's gonna be aired again tomorrow on July 16th 2011 and it oughta be a good one so tune in. Here's another link to some great photos from that show when it first aired on Jan 15th 2011. Click Here. Very Happy

Did anyone notice that the area under
Pauls steel was fuzzed out? Maybe its
so you couldn't see what brand seat he
was using. Looked like it could have been
Ken Rollans seat.

I noticed that too, Rick
Another thing I noticed was the awesome ShoBud he was playing....looks just like my 'Bud, in the C6 flavor...
Maybe Paul will chime in on why it was fuzzed out.

The fuzzed out area was due to the fact that I forgot to bring shoes I could play in. I have never been able to play steel in boots, so I had my wife run down a pair of comfortable shoes to the studio. Well I forgot to ask her to bring some black dress socks, and I had on white athletic socks that day for my boots. we noticed on playback you could see the lovely white socks. So the video guy fuzzed it out. HAHA!!! On another funny "wardrobe malfunction": I saw a copy of the new Connie Smith CD on the bus today. There is a really great shot of all of us in RCA Studio B while cutting the project. Well I didn't know about the photographer coming the day I wore some khaki shorts. So in the shot now, I guess you could say I got my khaki "slacks" from the "photoshop" HAHA!!! Marty has had some fun with that.

The best show on television, bar none. I record it every week, and at times, watch it at 3am after coming in from a gig. Killer show and music.

Paul, it's so nice to see you play steel on Marty's show. It says a lot about Marty that he would do that. You sounded great. We're watching.
