Have any of you actually used it on a gig? Using it in the practice room doesn’t give a good comparison.

#38. I was disappointed at first. I had a hard time finding a good tone. It sounded thin & nasal. But then I ripped off the settings from a photo here on the forum. What I found was it took some pretty drastic knob positions. Once I found that, I did play a gig & was pleased with what I got. Zum Hybrid SD 10, Goodrich pot pedal , Wet Reverb, Straight Ahead power amp,1501 BW Neo magnet speaker, Huff cabinet. The only problem, is that there are many loose parts to this setup & it takes a while to rig up. Nothing weighs much but more trips to the car. I’ve got to get it better organized, a case of some kind. I would be interested to see ya’ll settings once you get dialed in.

I don't have much to compare it to other than my previous rig, but I used it a full-band practice this week for the first time and everyone thought it sounded great. I run direct in nearly every playing situation I have, and it sounded good coming through the speakers. It cut through as it needed.

For what it’s worth, none of those tone settings are for a Session 400.

Right. The Sesh and Session 400 (and its little bro the LTD 400) had a very different circuit, different midrange EQ, etc from the modern opamp-based Nv400 and Session 400 LTD.

For those Players currently using a Sesh 400, where do you insert the Sesh 400 in your 'chain' when using other stomp-box effects, such as Tuner, Match-Bro, Delay, Reverb, etc?

Pics?

Thanks -

Ron

Are you not using your KPA, in favor of the Sesh 400?
