This song is kind of like Sleepwalk: everyone seems to have a version. It's such a great song and I love listening to everyone else play it,so here's mine (cut in half for Youtube):

Nice sound! Please tell me more about that organ bass pedal. Who makes it, and do you just plug it into a bass amp? |

roland pk-5 is a really good pedal bass. you need a midi bass generator to go with it or any synth with bass. |

I always enjoy your videos Ethan. A person can learn a lot from watching how you play. If that is a Tweed Deluxe I am curious to know how you have it set? That is a lovely fat tone! |

Very nice version Ethan ! How long did it take you to learn the bass pedal action ? It's a great idea and works pretty well ! _________________ https://hawaiian-steel-guitar.com |

Thanks, y'all! I appreciate it! Walter, Gary's right. It's a Roland pk-5. I finally found something small to get the sound from. I think it's called tiny piano, but it's just a tiny box with a midi input and a line out. Sebastian, the pedals were really hard at first, but I've been gigging with them for about 6 or 7 years, and it just takes practice. You'd be great at it! There are trade-offs, though, and I'd rather be playing with a bass player all the time if I could afford it. Tim, normally live I use a fox vintage high powered tweed twin copy that I put in a 2x12 cab, but this was just a blues jr. They're super trebly, so I turn the high all the way down. I appreciate y'all watching and the kind comments!I've definitely enjoyed watching some of you playing the same song! |

i have an alesis midi bass module that's about half the size of a cigar box (remember them?). it has 64 different bass sounds. this along with the pk=5 makes a great setup. |

Thanks Mike! Gary, that sounds great. I wish I had found that before I was lugging a keyboard around just for the sound module for years! |
