Here’s a YouTube video showcasing my new preamp “Coil Cut Booster” paired with the Bill Lawrence 710 humbucker.
Flip the switch to go from humbucker to single coil, the preamp allows you to set the volume of the single coil to the humbucker level.
It’s also always buffered output makes it nice with volume pedals. And in this case the buffered output works perfect for the effects loop. It’s wired so the overdrive pedal is before the volume pedal.
Pretty overkill, but fun and that single coil setting is glassy and acoustic like.
Once I get it all together I’ll post it as a new product in that forum.

Great idea. I've found people will never use a setting that cuts your volume-like going to a single coil or
out of phase-when doing so will cut your output immensly. _________________ Emmons SKH Le Grande, '73 Fender P/J bass, Tick tack bass, Regal high strung, USA Nashville 112. |

Not trying to be the vintage police here or anything, but......
How did you mount it on your highly collectible vintage Franklin?
Did you need to drill an extra hole in the guitar? |

No, they come stock with 2 jacks and 2 toggles, wired for 2 outputs to use with 2 amps. This is just reconfigured. |
