Looking to purchase a BJS 7/8" diameter by 3 - 3/8" long birthstone bar...preferably with 'clear' birthstone.

I recently found BJS Birthstone bar that is 1 inch diameter......

.....and would also like to find a BJS Birthstone bar that is same diameter as the old (like me!) Emmons bars.

Anyone have one laying around that they don't use?

Please contact me thru Forum's email....

Thanks,
Ron

Hi Larry

Thanks for the reply

The type BJS bar I’m looking for has gemstone in the Tip of the bar, not the butt end of the bar

Does your have gemstone in the tip ?

Hard to tell from photo

Thanks
Ron

Ron, I may have what you're looking for, even have some loose jewels from when I was BJS dealer. Stay in touch with me, give me some time to peruse the archives: steelguitarlessons@earthlink.net

I might have what you want…or close to it.

It’s a 7/8” BJS with a very pale “rose” colored gem in it. The pic makes it look like an aquamarine gem (I have a 15/16” with that stone) but it’s the light. I might have one with a clear gem but, if I do, it would be in FLA and I’m up north now.

It’s in excellent shape. In looking at it closely there are 4 faint circular lines near the bottom. They are not etched, scratched or detectable by feel at all. In other words, they fo not affect playability in any way. But you can see them and I want to mention them. I’ve added a pic of them.

I dunno….$65 and I pay the shipping? Heck, I even think I have one of the little felt bags they all came in, which I’d throw in.

In my opinion, BJS bars are the best. Once you use one you never go back to what you played before.
