Not sure what year this is but there is a piece of masking tape under the tuner pan with the number 5 on it. Guitar is in over all excellent shape. There are some nicks and finish cracks that can mostly be seen in the pics. Pots are clean and clear, tone is excellent. Chrome is excellent except for leg sockets where there is some chipping. Tuners are in excellent shape -easy to turn and no plastic degradation. Very little use judging by appearance. 5 White dots on fret board look like paint and may be able to be removed w/o damage to fret board but not guaranteed. Comes with 3 legs, finger pics, thumb pics, bar and excellent case.
$1100 SHIPPED.

| These are cool, I actually have two - a 50's and a 60's one. Going by the case this would be later 60's. Supposedly they outfitted these with leftover Broadcaster or Esquire pickups? Not sure if that's just a rumor or really means anything anyway. They can be pretty bright and twangy, but if you back the tone off & with the right amp they can sweeten right up. Such a convenient package. And this is a great price the way things are these days! |
