I took a 20 year hiatus from electric instruments and now getting into steel guitar I have acquired 4 amps. They are all very different and I find myself fiddling with knobs a lot. I have 2 Tweed clones that have more of a mid heavy tone and limited EQ (tone control). These amps generally just sound good on all settings, but not that versatile. They have more of an old time sound which I like. I also have an 80's Fender Frontman that has way too much Bass and Treble and almost no Mids, but fine for practice.

I recently got a Quilter Superblock and it has many knobs and several switches which I am constantly fiddling with. What are the typical EQ settings people like for amps with 3 band EQ and specifically for the Superblock? This is a great little amp and I am planning on making it my dedicated steel guitar amp on an elevated pedalboard next to my guitar.
