Hey all, I’m currently in the market for a good quality square neck resonator. There’re a lot of brands out there and I’m pretty much open to anything newer. I currently have a 70’s Dobro so that is not what I’m looking for. I’d like solid mahogany. It seems like those sound the best to me. It would be great if it has a quality pickup already installed. I have a single 10 Carter I’d be willing to trade plus cash for the right guitar. Hit me up.

I’m willing to go 2500.00 with a little bit of wiggle room. |

I haven't heard or played one, but those Beard Radio models look like a pretty good choice. Elderly Instruments lists them @ $2900 for both the traditional R body and the larger E body. Might be just a little above your budget, but check 'em out.

Your preference is solid mahogany - you might be able to find one on the used market from any number of builders somewhere near your price range, but first you should check out Appalachian.
Tony Langley took over the Appalachian brand from the late Tom Warner and is putting out some really nice guitars that are often priced under the other boutique buidlers. The model in the link starts at $2600.
I recommended Appalachian to a couple guys awhile back and they are pretty stoked with the guitars Tony built for them.
