Was the front apron burned at some point? What is the discolorization on the front left apron? |

Don my man, I believe that the discoloration on both ends comes from the place that it rests in the case. Seems that the Lacquer had a reaction with the foam in case. (Case is fairly old)
Only cosmetic! The underneath is spik and span! |

Did you try to buff out the discoloration? Is it reparable? |

Tone maybe one thing but my first pedal steel was a fingertip and if you like to tune between every number, that's the guitar for you.

I have heard this on many posts. But the fact is that a Fingertip set up properly almost never goes out of tune. I had a 66 and it held tune. If they were so terrible, I'm curious as why a lot of players are trying to find them! _________________ '66 Sho~Bud Fingertip, Sho~Bud amps, Fenders, old cars and Tinkerin with steels! |
