I recent purchased a used Emmonds Lashley Lagrand Iii SD 10. Between the fretboard and arm pad in the center of the guitar is a toggle switch and a round knob. I think the toggle switch controls the pickup but whet is the control knob for? |

The common p/p wiring: pot is a tone control, knob is a bypass of the tone control. I don't know if Emmons changed things with the LeGrandes. |

Jon is awesome but I think he meant to say the the toggle switch is the bypass. Ron _________________ Emmons SKH Le Grande, '73 Fender P/J bass, Tick tack bass, Regal high strung, USA Nashville 112. |

Oof. Thanks for catching that Ron!
Correct post should read:
The common p/p wiring: pot is a tone control, switch is a bypass of the tone control. I don't know if Emmons changed things with the LeGrandes.
Buddy Emmonds would have known the right answer. |

Guitars with that logo are very rare and wonderful, like a Himalayan snow leopard. Jon knows what I'm talking about. It just has that little something extra that's hard to put your finger on. _________________ All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest - Paul Simon |

I’m not sure my guitar switch/pot is functioning . Can someone send me a picture or diagram of the wiring. I also have a Lashley LeGrande model 918L sd10. My guitar also has a separate pickup,it seems to have the frequency of a dobro simulator? I have a question about that as well as the year my guitar was built? Thanks |
