Absolutely, Jeff reconed my two 12 inch K-120, two 15 inch K-130 and my 1964 bandmaster speakers. _________________ I survived the sixties! |

I did my D130s. bought the kits from Sound Speaker.com. Kits were 100 each. It took me about 2 hrs 50 pr hr. I would guess 200 per speaker. the kits use the exact same materials as were used by JBL! They sound awesome! The kits have to be assembled. Voice Coil, Spyder and cone are not preassembled. I ordered kits with cloth surrounds . The surround does come glued to the cone. |

My JBL K130 reconed speakers from Jeffrey Maxwell cost around $180 plus the basket, which I sent him at my own cost, so in the $250 range total for as-new JBL K130, plus he can recone to 8-ohm or 4-ohm impedance per your specifications. Cheaper than a new TT15, I believe he is working on my fourth JBL right now. |
