On the small tube it looks like there is threads, Where the Black rubber/plastic ring is. Looks like fine threads for a mike holder to screw on.
With that Crutch White Rubber Foot, What Diameter and TPI are on the large tube end???
Using the Adjustment Clutch, Which is 1 3/4" long for comparison, The large diameter tube is only about 12 3/4" long. There is not enough tubing to stretch out the 25 to 27 inches for a standard height PSG Leg.
At the end with with the White Crutch Foot, Looks like about 4 inches has been ran against a belt sander, The Chrome is gone and scratches.
If someone buys that for a Steel Guitar Leg, Will regret it.
I will get back in my cage now. |

Not every item sold by the heirs of Mr. Curtis is bogus.
There aren't alot of these out there. Gibson only ran two or three batches of Century 10s beginning in 1948. This one needed tuner buttons; I got it for a decent price. Even though its strings are so close together I find it somewhat unforgiving and difficult to play, I am grateful to have it. It sounds like a million bucks. |

If I put this on a steel will I sound more like SONNY CURTIS? Should I go around collecting parts from famous steelers _________________ Bryce
