Oh no. Jim kept RISGA going for years and years. I think he loved the organization as much as he loved the steel guitar. My condolences to Jake and his family. _________________ Sierra S10 (three!), Peavey 112 and 115, Benoit dobro, Beard Model E dobro, Beard Roadophonic, MSA Superslide, Dean Nickless custom dobro |

My condolences to Jim's family. He really loved the steel guitar and its community. I always enjoyed his visits to Colorado.

This news seemed to come on suddenly, unexpectedly.
It is very sad to lose such a steel guitar promoter, an organizer of our jamborees, and a guy who was rarely seen without a big smile on his face!
At the most recent meeting, Jim handed out some small jars of honey--I believe from his hives. |
