Hey, guys!
I have been trying to find a Remington S8 for ages with no luck. Places a WTB ad... no bites.
Does anyone know where I might be able to pick one up (or something similar)?
I need a console. Had a bad bike injury a couple years ago and cannot hold a guitar on my lap for any length of time.
Thanks!!! _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. Vox MV-50 amplifier + an 1940's Oahu cab w/ 8" American Vintage speaker. J. There's one on Reverb.
It's pretty pricey at $1400.
It's been up on Reverb for a while. |

...But I'm looking for a S6 or S8 console. If you see something comparable to a Remmy, please let me know! _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. I don't know if Bob Littleton is still building West Coast steel guitars but I know he has built single necks. |

At the moment I'm playing a John Allison S-8 console. Plays like a Fender Stringmaster, with some aesthetic inspiration from National New Yorkers.
They run about USD $1100 new.

Thanks, Levi! WishI had that much to spend, but when I do, I'll seriously look at those! _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. Thanks, Tal... Don't have a steel at the moment, but it's something to think about! I know Gary Rue used to make Fender-like S8s. I'll check him out, too! _________________ Remington Steelmaster S8 w/ custom Steeltronics pickup. Vox MV-50 amplifier + an 1940's Oahu cab w/ 8" American Vintage speaker. J. Thanks, Chris!!! And $800 isn't bad... but I wouldn't pay more than that, thanks! They surface on the Forum from time to time, usually in the $600 range.

I have a few 10 string eharp console models I'd sell. You can take of 2 strings or play it as a 10 string. |
