Carlos Robelli (Peerless) Manhattan
This a is really nice sleeper 17” archtop. Fully hollow, with a solid spruce top, solid maple back and sides, single floating Johnny Smith style pickup. Built in the Peerless factory, it was sold early on as the Carlos Robelli Manhattan…..but it’s the EXACT same guitar they now sell as the Peerless Monarch (for $1700!!). Comes with a new, nice hard case.

| nice guitar. the back and sides are maple plywood, not solid. also, the top is not carved....it is what they called "pressed"....must be some sort of heat process where they heat/steam the spruce and form it into shape. made by peerless in korea. |

Not 100% sure it was carved. I do remember seeing that it was, when purchased, but I'll change the ad to just "solid", to be safe.
But the sides are also solid, not ply.
