I picked number 3 because I've always liked that Audiovox shape, and this looks like an updated vintage design. They are all beautiful, Bill! |

Hard to choose just one, but I do like you latest one (#2) a lot. However the aluminum B6 style (#5) I believe is perhaps the most innovative construction. |

I like the looks of #4 but I need it right handed. Of the ones listed #2 can be shipped to me, at your expense....LOL

I would probably have voted for the Century Deluxe, if given that option. Out of the six in the photos, it's a toss-up between the Audiovox and the skinny B-6 to me. But I sure do like that chunk of maple you used for the newby.
Bravo, Bill! |

For me it’s the beautiful new maple one. Ya, I’ve always been a sucker for natural maple, but the body shape, the headstock, right down to the Gibson style knobs - you nailed it. _________________ David K |

Thanks David. I could not be happier with the outcome. _________________ Currently own, 6 Groner-tone lap steels, one 1953 Alamo Lap steel, Roland Cube, Fender Champion 40 |

I have no opinion since I have not played on any of those particular steels.
For me, it's the instrument itself, each one has its own character, even supposedly the "same" model. |

Head EAST 3,000 miles and you can play any or all you like. I get what you are saying, but I guess what I meant in the post was, which one, was your favorite looking steel. Hope this clears up any confusion. _________________ Currently own, 6 Groner-tone lap steels, one 1953 Alamo Lap steel, Roland Cube, Fender Champion 40 |

Bill I voted for Audiovox aluminium sandwich. I love everything about this guitar. But I also very much like the one next to it with the scroll fendery type headstock. This would make an ideal headstock for a 7 string guitar. I have never seen am aesthetically pleasing 7 string headstock, but I believe this one could just be perfect. Enjoy your retirement, but it would be nice to see more of your creations if you decide to start making them again! |
