Hi All:
Bob Metzger and I are having a hard time finding a suitable rewind job for my the original pickups on my 1973 Shobud Professional. Has anyone found a comparable replacement that can be bought new? I really like the tapped single coil...is anyone making those anymore?

Nick Fryer (he is here on the SGF) has been rewinding (and I believe making from scratch) Sho-Bud pickups. I have seen happy testimonials and he'd be my first choice if I were looking for this for myself. |

Definitely contact Nick Fryer. Jeff Surrat is putting some of Nick's pickups in new Sho Pros. _________________ 2016 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2015 Williams D12 8 x 8, 2023 Williams S12 4 x 5, Milkman Amps, 1974 Gibson Byrdland |

Rick, Harry Jackson rewinds them. What better person to do it? _________________ 2013 Williams D-10, 2019 Williams D-10, 1970 Fender Twin, Evans SE200, Fender Tonemaster Twin, Hilton pedal, Jagwire Strings. |
