As I understand it, for a time in the 70’s, Sho-Bud made Fender’s pedal steels. I think it was called the Artist series. Much of the hardware is identical to that used on Sho-Buds at that time, such as bellcranks, pedals, rods, crossshafts, and it’s knee lever.
This is the (student?) S10 model. It has the standard 3-pedal setup and one knee lever that lowers the eighth-string E to Eb and the 2nd string to D/C#. The knee lever does not lower the 4th string E.
It’s in very good condition and it’s case is excellent. I went through it, cleaned and lubricated it, put a new set of strings on, tuned and checked its operation. I liked it but the lack of a 4th-string lower isn’t what I’m used to.
$800 + shipping.

Interesting! At one time I could have bought one of these from a pawn shop, but $300.00 was too much foe me, then......Pat. |
