I have searched the forum, but the explanations vary so I thought Iā€™d post again. I am replacing the stock single coil pickup in my Mullen Discovery with a BL-705. The pickup is wired directly to the output jack. There is no switch. Can someone explain the wiring of BL-705 directly to the output jack?

I have seen some posts that say:

1. Red wire to output jack tip
2. Twist green and white wires together and connect to nothing. Just insulate the connection.
3. Black and bare wires to output jack ground

Is this correct? Or should it be done a different way?

Thanks!
