Steel Guitar Forum wooden "Work Bench Tool"

I have one of these and have no idea how it's supposed to work! It's missing one of the 4 bolts.

Any input or info on these?

The way I use mine is...
- Set in on the pedal steel, and figure out how/where it fits best. You may have to angle one of the rails.
- Then tighten the bolts (you'll have to replace that one) Don't make the rails tight against the body. Leave some wiggle room.
- Put a bungee-cord cord around the steel & stand.
- Flip it over onto your table & remove the bungee.
