Hey all, I need new legs for my old Fingertip since the clutch on the old ones wont hold anymore. It's very frustrating and makes me not want to play it with the legs not staying at the right height. Any suggestions for a good place to source these? Thanks in Advance. _________________ '64 Sho-Bud Fingertip D-10 9+1, Goodrich VP, Sho-Bud/Evans Compactra 100 Custom, Sho-Bud/Evans Compactra 100 Head unit, '75 Tele, '77 Guild D25, '71 YBA-1, Marshall 4x10 and a Les Paul. |

Okay, unscrew the clutch tightener and take it and rubber foot off the leg. now with oil like 3&1 oil and a rag; clean the threads that are on the big cylinder just clean and clean until they're spotless, you're cleaning out all the old shavings,as that's why it's not holding it's not tightening efficiently. Then do the same thing with the clutch tightener drip oil inside get a rag smash it in there rub it around clean those threads and then re-oil them lightly and put back together you'll find just tightening with just normal turn will hold that insert cylinder.
