Folks,

He's gone, but b0b's legacy lives on. Any changes we make to this site should be invisible to you, the contributors.

Feel free to discuss suggestions for improvements in the Forum Feedback section.

I want to echo everything Brad is saying here. We think it is essential to maintain and improve this community, in the ways that b0b envisioned it. Nobody could have been more tireless and selfless than he was in creating and shepherding this place. Please be patient - b0b left some very large shoes to fill.

b0b was a good friend, great musician and a very witty & kind human being. I will miss his smile & laughter. I'm pleased to hear that Brad is continuing the Forum...as b0b would want. Whenever I asked a steel player if they knew of the Forum they would inevitably saw "YOU know Bobby Lee??!!" R.I.P. Sad

Let me be clear - I'm not in charge. Dave Mudgett, Lori Lee and the other moderators are as large a part of this transition as I am.

Sad that b0b is gone, but you folks seem to be the right hands to leave the SGF in.

When they build a “Monument” depicting the “History of the Steel Guitar” and the “Greats” that contributed so much to the development of this fantastic instrument.
“b0b’s” name should be among them listed on the plaque.

“THANK YOU” b0b for your help and inspiration.

Very few people have the opportunity to do something that is so positive and helpful to so many people. b0b did that with this forum. A wonderful legacy. I never met b0b but had the greatest admiration for him because of this forum and how he ran it.
thank you b0b.

RIP Bob. Thanks for all the work that you've put into helping the steel guitar stay in the limelight and provide people with a gathering place where they can exchange ideas and help one another.

I'm gutted at the news of b0b's passing (RIP) but it's comforting to hear the forum will continue. As I just mentioned in another thread, if it wasn't for this forum (and the many PM's I traded with b0b where he graciously offered his help and insight) there's no way I could have finally gotten over the hump and learned how to play PSG.

Thanks to the team who will be keeping b0b's legacy up and running.
