Finale Tab and notation software

A plea for software assistance. Has anyone had successful experience writing TAB for the C6th with Finale? I'm stuck at the Fretboard Instrument Definition window.

I've had a brief tinker and if you fill out that box with the number of strings and the tuning, it will create a tab staff into which you can import notes from another staff or enter numbers manually.

What version of Finale are you on? (I'm up to V.27)
