I've done a quick search for any discussion on this device but I've found nothing. It was in the back of my mind that these things didn't work well with pedal steel, but having got my hands on one I find it works brilliantly!

Anyone else?

I have one. I used it in a band that really didn’t do much Country. We covered Hall & Oates, Marvin Gaye, Beatles, Bruno Mars, and Kool&the Gang. It really came in handy for doing those synth parts. People came up to me and would say “I can’t believe I’m hearing ‘Uptown Funk’ on pedal steel “
Well, it wasn't Ernest Tubb!
I also have the Mellotron pedal, which does flute and the cellos pretty well and Key 9 for vibes and steel drums. The tracking is not perfect but workable.
I don’t use these pedals a lot but they are fun if I need them.
