Someone recently commented that good tone is heavy and hard to carry. They must have been talking about the Gibson Medalist 410 from the mid 1960's.

I remember this amp at my local music store when I was a kid and always thought it looked cool. I had a VOX AC-15 that I didn't care for so I offered the owner a few dollars and trade the Vox.

This amp is in excellent condition. 60 watts with EL-34 power tubes. 11 tubes in all with the power tubes at the bottom of the amp and the preamp section up top. Wonderful tremolo and the reverb is boingy but usable. It took 4 people to carry this beast to my truck and I estimate the weight over 100 pounds. It will stay in my man cave and will not be moved. It also stands 44 inches high. The fellow I got it from is an amp guy and re-tubed and serviced the amp. It really sounds nice.
