My 1 year old goodrich pedal is getting progressively quieter as I play. If I unplug the output, and plug it into the other output, or even back into the same output, it seems to bounce back to normal volume. I don't see any looseness in the string, or loose wires. Anyone got a clue here? _________________ Bryce

Based on what you report, if you have a standard pot pedal, I would suspect the guitar cord. Use a different cable. |

If the string is tight and moving smooth from off to full volume on the pulley.
Dave has a good answer for the problem, Check the set screw in the brass string pulley, If the pulley is loose, Make sure it is in proper position on the shaft when set screw is tightened. |

Doesn't sound like a volume pedal problem to me. Check your cables and clean all of your input and output jacks on the amp including send and receive jacks. De-oxit cleaner works very well! |

seems to be fixed with a new cable. No trouble in four hour gig (other than a sore back) It wasn't acting like a bad cable in the sense that it was shorting, but just losing volume by around 50%. Older George L. Might be oxidized. Whatever the case, it's better now! _________________ Bryce
