There's a C6 page on Facebook, where people post interesting things, videos and related stuff. Worth checking out...I think it was forummite Christopher Woitach who shared a very cool dropbox link to a whole pile of Reece Anderson live recordings. Some great stuff. That post was maybe a year or two ago, but is probably still active.
You could do a fb search and or perhaps reach out to Christopher who was a friend and student of MA, in my understanding. |

Would you have the NAME of that Facebook page, please?
Thanks!... J-D. _________________ __________________________________________________________

I say it humorously, but I mean it. |

Yes, JD, that is the fb group that Scott has linked. Last I tuned in, It was a relatively small group worth checking out. There is plenty of E9 stuff on the web and social media, so that page offers something different. |

I had a nice conversation with Johnny Gimble once when I did a thing with him. I learned Reese was his favorite steel player. So don’t overlook those Johnny Gimble LP’s. Most of them include Reese in a Western swing setting. _________________ Bill Cunningham

Forum member Jim Stahlhut made a CD with Reece called Out of Nowhere. You might be able to buy a copy from Jim. I have that and the 2 cd set A Musical Decade which contains about 40 tracks or so. And I have Reeces Texas Swing CD he did on non pedal 12 string. |
